HOSPITALITY WOMEN’S EVENT – October 12
The Bible is clear that hospitality is important to God, and that it is about so much more than a wreath on our door. Hospitality begins with hearts that are ready to welcome friends and strangers, and to share our hearts and lives with one another. Please join us on October 12th at 6:30 PM for some light snacks, a guided panel discussion about what it means to have A Heart of Hospitality, and to make that welcome wreath, too! Night of Prayer – October 19
Our next Night of Prayer will be Friday, October 19 at 7 PM. Please join us as we gather together to seek God’s heart in prayer for our church, community and our nation. “Where two our three are gathered in my name, there I am in the midst of them.” Matt. 18:20

 

Trunk or Treat – October 31
It’s that time of year again where we’re gearing up for our annual Trunk or Treat community event on October 31st from 6:30-8 PM. This is a free community event which will include; candy, games, roasting marshmallows, a hayride, bounce house, music and much more! Please invite your friends, family and neighbors to this fun event.

Please sign-up for one of our teams to help make our trunk or treat event a success! Here are the team options:
 
1. leading games 
2. providing decorated car trunks 
3. giving candy 
4. face painting 
5. parking and security 
6. lobby greeter.

Multi-Church Pot Luck in Sedalia, MO – October 27
We’re joining with other Foursquare churches in the Kansas and Missouri area for a pot luck lunch. It will be hosted by Pastor Billy Foster at Bethel Family Church, 120 East 5th Street, Sedalia, MO 65301 on October 27th from 11 AM—2 PM. We’ll gather for some food, fellowship, worship and sharing. Women’s Retreat – November 2-4
We’re excited to invited you to our 2018 Women’s Retreat, Dare to go Beyond, November 2nd—4th in Wichita, Kansas. We’ll gather together with other regional Foursquare Churches as we learn what it means to Dare to go Beyond.
 
This is always a wonderful opportunity to get away for some refreshing, grow spiritually, build relationships and make memories. The ‘Early Bird” deadline is September 28.

Chili Cook-off – November 9
Please join us on Friday, November 9th at 6:30 PM as we spend some relaxed time together while enjoying great food and fun competition! This is a free community event, so please invite your friends, family, neighbors etc.
 
HOW TO ENTER If you’d like to enter your chili in the cook-off, just write Chili on the I Am Here card in the Sunday bulletin.
 
CHILI JUDGING To be included in the judging, please have your chili at the church by 6:00 PM (judging will be from 6:15-6:30) and the categories are Mild, Medium and Hot.
 
WHAT ELSE? If you’re not entering a chili, please bring a side dish or dessert to share. We’ll also have a contest for the best dessert and cornbread!
