SONG OF SOLOMON DISCIPLESHIP CLASS
As we have been discovering together that we are people Made for More, we sense the Lord asking us to continue to go deeper in uncovering our identity in Christ. The Song of Solomon is the story of an individual on a journey of understanding how God really thinks and feels about them. This story is full of ups and downs, suffering and celebration. Here are some of the topics and takeaways from this class:

~ Gives us a model/pattern of how to grow in love and partnership with Jesus
~ Helps us understand the relationship between Jesus and the individual believer (the Bridegroom and His Bride)
~ Gives us insight into how to grow in passion for Jesus
~ Equips us to discern what God is doing in different seasons of our lives
~ Emphasizes the emotional side of God’s personality and His relationship with His people
~ Empowers us to love God with all our heart (First Commandment Love) by seeing God’s love, delight, desire, and enjoyment of His people

We invite you to take advantage of this incredible discipleship opportunity beginning Wednesday, October 3rd. This is more than a Bible study, it is a diving into something deeper, a heart-level, personal knowledge and understanding of the love of God. This is a study for the hungry. We hope you can join us!

The River Church Family’s mission is “to be disciples and make disciples, everywhere.”  But what exactly does it mean to “be a disciple?”  The Operation: Solid Lives (OSL) discipleship program addresses this very issue. This comprehensive 5 level course teaches the fundamentals as well as the deeper meaning of what it means to be a follower of Jesus through practical teachings, Bible reading plans, scripture memorization, personal journaling and group discussion.

WHAT STUDENTS ARE SAYING…
I was raised in the church, however it wasn’t until I took an OSL level 1 class as an adult that I fell in love with Jesus Christ. He went from being a conceptual story to a personal friend.  OSL has taken me on a journey that has forever changed and transformed my life.  ~ Stephanie

Even though I had pressed into God on a regular basis, until I took OSL I didn’t realize that my perspective was skewed and therefore I wasn’t getting everything I could out of the Bible and prayer. OSL helped get the Word of God inside of me in a way that was life-changing and empowering.  ~ Scott

OSL was a life-changing and mind-blowing experience for me. As I came to it with an open mind expectant to receive, I learned several things such as: how to develop spiritual disciplines, God’s delight over me, why He created the world and how to have an intimate relationship with Him.   ~ Belva
OSL HAS 5 LEVELS
Level 1 is where many people have the most exciting and life- changing experience. In this level you will discover, more deeply than ever before, how much Jesus really loves… and how much He wants to be with you for the rest of His life… forever!

Level 2 takes it up a notch with some of the most treasured studies in OSL. We will let Jesus teach us— in much detail— His three steps to a solid and fruitful life in the kingdom of God and learn to regularly receive the fullness of God’s Spirit.

Level 3 takes us through a study of the Word of God from various angles: Its origin, how it came to us, insights about translations and five ways to receive from it. Level 3 also takes us through a study of how to use the Word of God as our primary weapon in the spirit realm.

Level 4 will spend time studying the great authority we have on the earth through Jesus and how to use it. We will learn how to be led by the Holy Spirit and to minister to people through the manifestations of the Holy Spirit.

Level 5 will focus entirely on your ministry to others. In this level we will study many of the keys and principles regarding ministry from the Word of God. We will study how to relate to Him in ministry, how to relate to our overseers and peers and how to purify the motives of our heart.
