SCHOOL CARNIVAL VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Let’s help our neighborhood school, Laurel Hills, with their annual carnival on May 18th from 6-8 PM. We’ll help with typical carnival stuff: games, snow cones, bouncy-house etc. Join us as we support our Raytown Community at this fun event!

web GIVE A BAG
GIVE-A-BAG PROGRAM Our Give-a-Bag program is located in the Raytown lobby.  I’ts a place to fill-a-bag and leave it there for others to take for themselves or to someone else who is in need. So please stop by the Give-a-Bag kiosk in the Raytown Campus lobby to pick up an empty bag, fill it with the items listed on the bag and bring it back to the Bag Kiosk.  
 
 
GROCERY LIST OF THE GIVE-A-BAG PROGRAM ITEMS
  • 4 soup cups
  • 1 box or 2 packages of crackers
  • 2 cans of spaghetti or ravioli (with pop-top lids)
  • 1 package of pudding cups or cookies
 
Please stay as close to this list as possible so that it is more conducive to our motel families who are in need.
fb-nursery-vounteers-neededNURSERY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED We need more helping hands to love and care for our children on Sunday mornings. We’re looking for nursery workers for ages 0-4, for a once a month (or more) commitment as an assistant or lead teacher.  Background check, application and training are required. WEB ROR work nights generic dates
RIVER OF REFUGE (ROR) WORK NIGHTS
On the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month at 6 PM, ROR holds a volunteer work night and all are invited! Activities may include: construction/demolition (when needed), landscaping, stocking food pantry, sorting clothes, cleaning, painting, moving furniture/heavy items, etc. 
 
In addition, ROR also has these other service opportunities: life skills instructors, childcare during life skills, fundraising assistance (people to help with needs drives, and special events), bible study leaders, and community room monitors.
