We love our Raytown community! And one important way we like to express this love, is by supporting local events. This gives us the opportunity to serve and get to know our neighbors. Since 2010, the Raytown Main Street Association has held an annual Egg-Extravaganza during the Easter season. As a church family, we have helped in the past and would like to continue this tradition.
If you’d like to help, here are a few options:

Meet on the green space downtown (approx. 62nd St. between Blue Ridge/Raytown Rd.)
Bring your own sack lunch or money for food vendors/local restaurants.
Parking is available in the lot off of Raytown Road between 62nd and 63rd Street. 
Volunteers activities: Main Street tent, games, face-painters, crowd control and tent tear-down/cleanup.

box tops
THRIVE FAMILY CO-OP BOX TOPS COLLECTION The THRIVE Family Co-op is collecting box tops to raise money for art supplies, science equipment and ultimately laptops! So, keep an eye out for the “Box Tops” logo on items you purchase (like Bisquick, cereals, brownies etc.) cut them off and drop them off at the Thrive Box Tops display by the lobby coffee area. We’re looking for nursery workers for ages 0-4, for a once a month (or more) commitment as an assistant or lead teacher.  Background check, application and training are required. web GIVE A BAGGIVE-A-BAG PROGRAM Our Give-a-Bag program is located in the Raytown lobby.  I’ts a place to fill-a-bag and leave it there for others to take for themselves or to someone else who is in need. So please stop by the Give-a-Bag kiosk in the Raytown Campus lobby to pick up an empty bag, fill it with the items listed on the bag and bring it back to the Bag Kiosk.
  • 4 soup cups
  • 1 box or 2 packages of crackers
  • 2 cans of spaghetti or ravioli (with pop-top lids)
  • 1 package of pudding cups or cookies
Please stay as close to this list as possible so that it is more conducive to our motel families who are in need.
