Men’s Camp is a time to get away from the everyday activities, seek God in a fresh way and fellowship with other men. Our speaker will give spiritual encouragement and challenge us through stories and teachings about what it means to walk out our faith in everyday life. It’s also a time to hang out with other guys, be outdoors, and participate in optional activities such as camping, fishing, range and skeet shooting, canoeing, paintball, football, and hiking.

Men’s Camp is designed to offer a variety of experiences for men from all different walks of life. Make plans to join us!
CAMP SPEAKER  Larry Spousta is a graduate of Life Bible College (currently LIFE Pacific College), in San Dimas, California.  His ministry, beginning in 1974, has included youth ministry, pastoral ministry, church planting and supervision.  Currently, Larry serves as Leadership Health Coordinator / National Pastor for the U.S. Foursquare Churches.

During his19-year pastorate at New Hope Foursquare Church in Salem, Oregon numerous missions teams and outreaches were mobilized and four new churches were planted.  Larry’s supervision of the former Midwest District resulted in over forty new churches across a five-state region.  Most recently, he supervised the North Pacific District where the development of a missional culture led to an incarnational model of neighborhood reaching, community revitalization, and church planting efforts.

Larry’s greatest joy is found in sponsoring the success of others through life coaching, spiritual direction, and practical mentoring. His influence with fellow pastors and leaders has been marked with integrity and characterized by loving leadership.  He and his wife, Sue, have been married for 42 years. They have two married children, four grandsons, and one granddaughter.  Matthew and his family live in the Czech Republic.  Stacey and her family reside in Frederick, Maryland.

MENS CAMP THEME  “Fighting the Essential Battle”  Conflict is something none of us like and usually tend to avoid.  The question is: Are we tired of running and avoiding and will we stand firm knowing that God will stand with us?  This year Pastor Larry wants to help us recognize and be prepared to wage war on the three fronts of Conflict: Self, Flesh & The Devil.  As I Corinthians 16:13-14 states, “Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.  Let all that you do be done in love.”  It is time for us to fight!
